The article asserts that numerous teachers do not take questions asvital elements in the teaching and learning process. It is also clearthat questions are an integral part in thinking. Questions invokethinking and help students to learn better. It is essential to stopfeeding students with endless content, but students should be givenquestions that provoke their thinking.

The author claims that questions are extremely essential in thelearning process. According to the author, many teachers and otherteaching models give little attention to the role that questions playin the teaching and learning processes. Essentially, the authorclaims that what drove people to write books with statements werequestions regarding topics such as biology or physics. The authoralso continues to state that questions provoke thinking in students.It is also evident that the author asserts that most of the teachersfeed their learners with endless content which is inappropriate inlearning. The author calls on teachers and student to come up withquestions and answers and this he states, would enhance understandingof the content. According to the author, if there are no questions ininstructional learning, there is no understanding of the content.

This model supports learning in that it provokes thinking. Questionsprovoke and activate the thinking engine of the students. It alsoensures that learners are not fed with endless content and thereforeare given chances to find answers to some of the questions they mightbe having (Fusco, 2012). Since the statements in books are answers tovarious questions, it is evident that this model would ensure thatthe learners not only concentrate on the answers, but are also awareof the questions being answered. It is also evident that this modelof questions ensures that there is interaction between the teachersand the students. Both the teachers and the students are engaged inthe development of the questions and the search for answers. This isan extremely vital aspect that ensures that learners grasp thecontent effectively.

The author applies the rationale that all the content and thestatements in books are answers to some questions. This indicates theimportance that the questions have in learning. It is also evidentthat the author points to the role that questions play in enhancingthe continuation of thought.

Considering the various advantages that the model presents to thelearners, I tend to completely acknowledge the role that questionsplay in teaching, thinking and learning. It is clear from the articlethat questions cannot be separated from answers and both constitutethe learning process. This model has the advantage of enhancing thecontinuation of thought. It provokes thinking in learners andtherefore enhances their capacity to understand (Fusco, 2012). Themodel also ensures that the learners and the teachers are totallyengaged in the learning process. It is, however, a concern that it isnot all the statements in a book might be answering questions andtherefore learners might only concentrate on some statements leavingout other content that might be vital.

Questions have been a vital part of my studies. They have aided mystudies especially during the examinations where I try to answer asmany questions as possible before the actual examination. Thisensures that am well equipped during the examination and tacklemajority of the questions.
