PabloPicasso, full name Pablo Ruiz Pacasso, is probably the greatest andmost important artists in the 20th century. He was aSpanish painter, ceramicists and sculptor who had a huge contributionin the history of art. He was also a renowned playwright and poet.Although he was Spanish, he spent most of his artistic life inFrance. Due to his contribution in the development of new forms ofart as well as arts movement throughout the 20th century,he is considered to be among the greatest artists of all time. By thetime was 50, who had become a famous artists due to hisdistinctive artistic styles and creations. Historians have arguedthat although numerous artists have made huge impacts on artisticmovement, impact was phenomenon. However, it isimportant to note that although artistic career lastedfor over seventy years, he is most remembered for the introduction ofcubism in art. His modern approach to art brought about a newartistic movement that dominated the last decades of the 20thcentury. artistic talent was evident from his earlyyears, from childhood to adolescence to adulthood. However, it isevident that in his early years, mainly the first decades of the 20thcentury, he did not have a specific style of art. He experimentedwith different techniques, styles and ideas, which explain why hisstyles changed frequently. Since his works of arts is enormous, PabloPicasso work is categorized into periods which includes “BluePeriod (1901–1904), the RosePeriod (1904–1906), the African-influencedPeriod (1907–1909), Analytic Cubism(1909–1912), and Synthetic Cubism (1912–1919)”. Although hedied in 1973, his artistic legacy is evident in the modern world ofart (Victoria, 2011).
